How long does it take to install ducted air conditioning in my home?
Depending on the size of the house and the degree of difficulty, most installations are completed within one day.
Usually between four to six persons.
The installation involves cutting the ceiling to install the outlets and during this operation drop sheets are used to minimise dust etc. All packaging is removed from the site and your home is left in a clean and tidy state.
Three phase power is a 415 volt power supply involving the installation of additional cabling and equipment to your meter box. Three-phase power is required for air conditioning systems for homes larger than 16 squares (approximately).
Most manufacturers offer a five year parts and labour warranty - naturally batteries and air filters are excluded.
A Custom Air Conditioning warranty not only includes the equipment but ALSO covers items such as zoning equipment, duct work, outlets and MOST IMPORTANTLY includes the WORKMANSHIP. At Custom Air your system is totally covered by a parts and labour warranty on the WHOLE system.
Custom Air Conditioning technicians provide after sales service, and most calls are attended within a 24 hour period. (Visit the service section on this site for more information).
Depending on the size of the system required, prices can vary from R80 000 and above depending on the brand or type of machine selected. Contact Us for more information.
Usually, installation is within two weeks from the date of your order. During peak times, however, this can extend to 3-4 weeks.
Custom Air Conditioning has had many jobs integrating the air conditioning system with houses under construction. The benefits to the owner of the new house are:
a) We are usually cheaper than the builder.
b) We offer only quality recognised products.
c) You benefit from a system designed by a professional.
